Key limitations included:
✔ Fixed neck seam placement – The connection point to the body could not be altered.
✔ Consistent head shape and scale – Ensuring seamless compatibility with hats, hairstyles, and accessories.
✔ Preserving distances between hair and neck – To maintain proper alignment without clipping.
Because of these constraints, the variations may appear subtle, but they were crucial for ensuring technical compatibility and smooth integration within the game.
The task involved generating multiple custom character heads by manually modifying only the geometry—adjusting vertices without creating new textures. Skin color variations were achieved through procedural adjustments in Unreal Engine, while a few eye variations were placed in the unused UV space.
