Female Player Hand - "Ritual Tides" The Game - RealTime 3D model

Sharing a piece I worked on about a year ago for Ritual Tides.
I was responsible for modelling, sculpting and texturing the hands, as well as integrating and adapting them to the Metahuman body. Around 90% of the textures are hand-painted, with roughly 10% left from the scan data. The pose is a mix of several scanned hand poses, then resculpted on top – I paid particular attention to the finger positions so that the knuckles keep a sharp, bony read during bending, rather than collapsing into “sausage” shapes.

Skin tone is adjusted towards a British complexion and the overall mood of a horror game. These hands will be the player’s first-person hands, currently in a testing stage. Next steps on my side: adding asymmetry, creating wrinkle maps (sculpting and baking compression/extension of skin on the fingers and palm), and adding light peach fuzz / body hair.
